About Me
Art has been my whole life — and honestly, it started before I even knew what to call it.
Growing up, my mother took me to her art shows in New York City, and those early experiences planted something deep. I've been drawing for as long as I can hold a pencil, and of everything I've created over a lifetime in the visual arts, nothing brings me more joy than a pencil portrait. There's something about the intimacy of it — the way graphite can capture the light in someone's eyes, the softness of a smile, the personality of a beloved pet — that no other medium quite matches.
My process is both traditional and thoughtful. When a portrait involves more than one subject, I use digital tools to thoughtfully compose photos of your people and pets into the most visually harmonious reference image possible before a single pencil stroke hits the page. Every finished piece is then scanned and professionally treated by hand, carefully calibrated to bring out perfect sharpness and the most delicate, luminous shading. From there, it's rendered on the finest archival paper available — the kind built to last generations.
And because your portrait is digitally preserved, it lives on. You can order additional prints whenever you like, making it easy to share something truly heartfelt as a gift for years to come.
These aren't just drawings. They're heirlooms.
Let's get started today — I can't wait to create something beautiful for you.
